Website Design

Think you can’t afford a website. . . think again.

The fact is, you can’t afford not to have a great website. Websites don't have to be elaborate in order to work. But they do need to be clean, functional and be Google friendly. I provide the knowledge and tools you need to get your business website up and running– and get found in local search listings.

All of my websites are built using premium WordPress themes. They feature the latest technologies so you won't need to worry about your website going obsolete for a long time. I create clean designs that work and are Google friendly.

Website design that gets results

I use premium managed WordPress hosting, so that you can rest easy that your site will be fast, secure and stable. But just in case something ever did happen– no worries– daily backups are stored off-site so that your website can be restored with one-click. Most web hosts do not include these premium features.

You will get a professional web presence and the option to build your site as your needs and your budget grow. You provide the content and I do all the setup for you.

Website Design FAQs

How much does a website cost?

Just like the price of a car varies considerably, so do the costs associated with building and maintaining a website. Your investment will depend on the size and scope of the project. But to give you a range, I've done websites for as little as $600 up to several thousands of dollars.

Usually I can work with you to meet your budget. Contact me with your requirements  and give me an idea of what you're ready to spend. I'll let you know what's possible within your budget.

To begin work on your project, I require a 50% down payment, or $600, whichever is greater. The balance will be due before your website goes live, or within 4 weeks of your project start date, whichever comes first.

In some cases I may agree to offer a payment plan. I'm happy to discuss payment options with you.

I can accept PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, cash or a check (in order of preference).

How long will it take for you to build me a new website?

My track record for turnaround time on websites is very good. In most cases, after I begin work on your website, I can have an initial draft ready to show you within five business days. At that point I will just need feedback from you, along with any additional copy or images you need to provide me. Generally I can have a completed site up and running for you in approximately 2-3 weeks, depending on the size of the site and how long it takes for you to get me the info I need to finish your website.

Do you have some examples of sites you've built?

Sure, absolutely! You can check out some of them here:

Where should I host my website?

I really prefer to work with my preferred host, which is Flywheel. I will get your hosting all set up for you, so this is really not anything that you need to worry about.

For several reasons, including security, speed and reliability, I prefer that all of my customers' sites are on the servers of my preferred host. If you already have hosting with another company, we can discuss your options.

Where should I purchase my domain?

As a business owner, your domain name (ie. is something that you really need to have under your control. Never let anyone else purchase your domain for you! For that reason, I ask that all my clients use their own credit card to purchase their domain name.

I recommend that you either use Namecheap or GoDaddy for domains. Both are reputable and I have purchased many domains from both of these companies.

You can purchase it either for one year or multiple years for better savings. If you purchase it for just one year, make sure you set it to auto-renew so you don't accidentally forget to pay the bill and risk losing your domain.

At the same time, you will also want to purchase Domain Privacy. This will keep your personal info private, which is important. Don't fall victim to any of the other upsells that they may try to sell you before you check out. All you need is the domain name and the privacy guard.

How will I learn how to use my website?

Training videos inside your website dashboard!

I want you to feel comfortable making edits and adding new images and info to your website. As an added value, all of my customers get a full-set of short tutorial videos right inside their dashboard. These are updated frequently, so they change whenever WordPress changes.

It will be up to you to take advantage of these videos. I encourage you to get comfortable with using your website as soon as possible. This will ensure you get the maximum return on your investment.

Are you available to take on new clients?

Maybe. We want to be sure that we can offer each of our clients the attention their project deserves, so we do limit our availability based on that. The best thing to do is contact us and let us know you're interested in working with us. We'll chat and if we decide it's a good fit for both of us, then we'll get you on the books.
